1. Develop the model for a DC motor (from volts to speed). Va (t) is the voltage applied to the DC motor and i(t) is the current. n(t) is the angular velocity of the motor. The parameters of motor are: R=0.115ohm, L=2.45*10^(-5) H, moment of Inertia Jm=1.39*10^(-3) kgm , torque constant KT=16.4*10-3 Nm/A, back-emf constant Kb=16.4*10-3 V•s/rad. (15P)
a) Develop the model that includes the motor inductance. Find the transfer function with voltage as input and speed as output.
b) Develop the model that neglects the motor inductance. Find the transfer function with voltage as input
and speed as output.
c) Simulate the step response of the motor to an input voltage of 24 Volts and compare the model with motor inductance and without the motor inductance using SIMULINK (plot the speed output on the same graph).
- Both of W(s) goes to 1463 rad/s
- I can find both of result are same or really tiny different. So I can define that motor inductance is not relate with output.
