Review Celeste Headlee - How to be be a good listener
1. Do not multitask.
for example I don’t use smartphone when I meet and talk somebody. cause when I use smartphone, he could think “Is she really concentrate my story?” so multitask could be rude when talking.
2. Don’t pontificate
If someone pontificates about something, they state their opinions as if they are the only correct ones and nobody could possibly argue against them.
when I was freshman, I have been on a blind date. One of them talked too much like 도날드 트럼프. so I don’t know why but I have a feeling of antipathy.
3. Use open-ended questions
For example, if someone asks me ‘Are you happy?’, I have just two answers: ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. But if someone asks me ‘How do you feel now?’, I’m going to express my feelings in abundance
