학습전략은 사이버 교육의 성과에 중요한 영향력을 지닌 요인으로 파악되고 었다. 그러나 아직도 사이버 학습환경에 구체적으로 요구되는 학습기술과 전략에 관한 그라고 그중에서도 성차에 초점을 둔 문헌이나 연구가 충분치 않다. 이에 본 연구는 사이버 학습전략에 존재하는 성차를 규명하고 이를 바탕으로 성평동적 사이버 학습공간의 구현을 위해 필요환 교수요인들을 제언하고자 하였다. 연구결과， 자기주도 학습전략과 시간관리전략에 있어 성차， 회사차， 연령， 학력 등이 복합적으로 그리고 다양하게 작용하고 었음을알 수가 었다. 다양한 요인을 복합적으로 고려함이 없이 관련 사이버 학습전략의 성차를탐구하는 것은 전체척인 그랩을 왜곡할 수 있음을 샤사해 준다. 연구결과를 기반으로 하여 사이버 학습환경에서 성차에 의한 불평풍을 최소화하고 모든 학습자들이 학습전략을최대한 활용하는데 도움을 주기 위해 가장 일반적으로 적용될 수 있는 해결책을 제안하였다.

영어 초록

Self-directed learning strategies help learners to guide their own learning process andmake appropriate decisions independently; learning strategies may also enhance learnersmotivation and self-esteem. Many studies on learning strategies have been conducted andidentified to be effective ways of enhancing learning in print-based media but few havebeen done in the multimedia context and even fewer in the cyber contexlCyberspace is heavily expected to be tremendously leamer-centered. Leamer-centered environmentsrequire learners to make decisions by themselves throughout the learning processand to have a high level of self-regulated learning abilities. For these reasons, it is criticalfor learners in a cyber-hyperl.ext environment to aCXJ.uire appropriate learning strategies.Nonetheless, relatively little attention to cyber learning strategies is found in the current literature.This study identified gender differenres in 11 cyber learning strategies, the most widelydemanded in the cyber learning environmenl Based on this finding, it suggests instructionalinterventions for enhancing gender- free learning opportunities. The results provide valid empiricalevidence for the importance of considering gender differences within the context ofprogram features, ages, and academic backgrotmd in the cyber learning contexl Currentlydominant modes of cyber courses demonstrate structures and functions in favor of males.Of greatest potentials leading to favor of males in a cyber-learning environment are extremelylearner-controlled learning schedules, lack of relations between learning efforts andlearning scores, and low demand of learners' accountability. The results of the currentstudy have implications for instructional design and research which might respond to learningstrategies in favor of both genders through various ways.
