abstract (초록)With recent rapid advancement of BIM technologies, recognized research work for Utilizing BIM has been conducted for increasing construction efficiency. However, most of the previous studies were limited to reflect that why applying BIM is difficult. This study compares the efficiency of BIM according to the type of public buildings. Because public buildings are built a lot, we focus on which public buildings will be most effective at applying BIM. To compare alternative, we use weighted evaluation method. By comparing the type of Public building, we can know the rank of Effectiveness of BIM Utilization of public buildings in Korea.
I.INTRODUCTION
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is more than a new technology. it is an innovative approach to the entire design, construction, and maintenance process. Many of the agencies and organizations involved in the building industry have their own definitions of BIM, but they all have a similar feel to that of the National BIM Standard definition: BIM is a digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility.
