본문내용
The formation of Igneous rocks
Magma, molten liquid rock, is formed under high temperature deep in the earth.
Magma rises slowly toward Earth’s surface
An igneous rock forms when magma solidifies.
The formation of Sedimentary rocks
Over times, weathering breaks rocks down to smaller particles.
Sediment is a term for gravel, sand, clay, and all other particles weathered and eroded from rock.
Ions such as sodium and calcium are also formed, and dissolved in ground water and streams.
A sedimentary rock forms when sediment becomes cemented or compacted into solid rock.
