“The bad artists imitate, the great artists steal”; this statement is from Pablo Picasso. Picasso was the one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century. He’s painting style changed over the period of his life more than any other great artist. I met this wonderful work called “Rape of the Sabine women” which is sensible, creative and erotic like most of his work. He painted this in 1963 and it is oil on canvas. He claimed the art of new age must not follow the old tradition and experiment a new possibilities. He had never fear of a new experiment. He even added some avant-garde factors to another painter’s way of painting and create it another his own new style.
