본문내용
Language is surely lively. It has continuously changed over time. Some words are no more in use, and other some words are created newly. And some words that have changed their meaning but retained their old form, with their old meaning lost or moved towards secondary importance. What has made languages changing so rapidly in recent years is the internet. Since the internet has become one of the biggest parts of our life, we should not be behind the trend but follow it. There are a number of articles, from magazines and newspaper about how the internet has affected language, especially English which is the first of top ten languages in the internet (IWS). The internet definitely brings about a revolution of languages, and the revolution has made the internet’s itself own unique sociolect – the internet slang.
