본문내용
1. Ohm's Law
- In electrical circuits, Ohm's law states that the current through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the potential difference or voltage across the two points, and inversely proportional to the resistance between them, provided that the temperature remains constant.
I = V / R
V : potential difference measured across the resistance
I : current throough the resistance.
R : resistance of the conductor.
- More specifically, Ohm's law states that the R in this relation is constant, independent of the current.
2. Resistor
(1) Resistance
- The electrical resistance of an electrical element is the opposition to the passage of an electric current through that element.
- The resistance (R) of an object is defined as the ratio of voltage across it(V) to current through it(I) :
R = V / I
V : V(volts)
I : A(amperes)
R : Ω(ohms)
