Tesla is an American company, which makes automobiles and energy storage devices. The company also makes and sells electronic vehicles and battery products. The company was named after Serbian inventor Nikola Tesla by company co-founders Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning(Tesla).They founded Tesla Motors in 2003, and 5 years later Elon Musk became CEO of Tesla Motors. Tesla Motors’ mission is to “to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport by bringing compelling mass market electric cars to market as soon as possible(Tesla).”The company’s initial strategy was to attract the wealthy buyers who could afford expensive products. Tesla designed the world’s first ever premium all-electric sedan, Model S, which enables 451km per-charge driving.
