본문내용
John Calvin was a prominent French theologian during the Protestant Reformation. He was born in Noyon, in 1509. He grew up in a middle class family. Even though Calvin wanted to continue working on an ecclesiastical career, his father forced Calvin to become a lawyer after he lost his influence in Noyon. Calvin studied theology again and joined the Protestant cause after his father died. He wrote a book about summary of biblical theology called The Institutes of the Christian Religion. The book divided into 4 chapters and first four chapters dealt with the Law, the Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the sacraments.
