1. Purpose
The purpose of external assessment is to identify opportunity and threat by considering Korean Air lines’ external environment. Based on this, we will learn about the current location of Korean Air lines and the opportunities that they need to seize, and the threats that they should avoid and try to overcome.
2. Introduction and History of Korean Air Lines Co,. Ltd
Korean Air Lines is a air carrier that is HanJin’s major company. In 1962, government operated this. But in 1969, change its name to ‘Korean Air Lines Co,. Ltd”. The business areas are air transport, space, in-flight meals, and in-flight duty-free goods. Currently, they use Incheon International Airport's second passenger terminal as a dedicated terminal, and passengers and freight are transported to 123 cities in 43 countries.
