(1. Hook) One day, if your grandson or a member of the future generation asks you about the present age, the word ‘social media’ will be the best to describe the world now because it is being used everywhere, anytime, and by everyone. (2. Topic) A highly developed social networking system seems to have made people in the world closer. However, as more and more people use social media, one controversial issue has emerged: Is social media really making the world more social? (3. Thesis) Some people say that it does not because social media is cutting off interactions with others in the real world.
