본문내용
France is located in the western part of the continent and is the third largest country in Europe. The shape of the land is close to a hexagonal shape, with half surrounded by the sea and the rest surrounded by mountains. French is spoken as an official language. The French flag is a three-color flag of blue, white and red, each representing the ideals of freedom, equality and philanthropy. The capital is Paris. Paris has long grown into a political, economic and cultural center, as it is located at the intersection of important land and waterways not only in France but also throughout Europe. Other major urban areas are Bordeaux, Lyon, Lille, Marseille, and Nice. France, including its overseas territories, has the most time zones of any country, with a total of 12. In 987, the Franc Kingdom collapsed and the first country was formed by Dynastie des Capétiens. After repeated absolute monarchy, enactment, and republican rule, it has continued to this day since the establishment of the republic in 1871.
