By the separation, impurities can be eliminated, or target components can be detected. The methods of separating mixtures have been developed in various ways. Unique properties such as density, boiling point, solubility are useful for the separation. Different methods are used depend on various circumstances. The state of the mixtures, or the amount of the mixtures should be considered to determine the appropriate method.
