1. 서론
많은 양의 계산을 쉽게 할 수 있게 됨으로써 컴퓨터를 통한 양자 계산은 갈수록 중요해지고 있다. 본 실험에서는 그 과정을 이해하기 위해서 1,2-다이클로로에테인(DCE)의 두가지 이형태체의 구조를 간단한 양자 계산을 통해 최적화하였다. 또한 각 분자의 라만 스펙트럼을 예측하고 문헌에 보고된 값들과 비교하여 분석하였다.
2. 배경 이론
(1) Density Functional Theory (DFT)
다전자 원자를 비롯해서 입자의 개수가 두 개 이상이 되면 더이상 슈뢰딩거 방정식을 해석적으로 풀 수 없다. 따라서 근사를 통해 그 해를 예측할 수 밖에 없고 DFT는 그러한 분자 구조를 계산하는 방법 중 하나이다. DFT는 슈뢰딩거 방정식의 파동함수처럼 분자의 전자 밀도를 위치에 대한 함수로 나타낼 수 있다는 생각에서 시작한다. 전자 밀도 함수은 다음의 Kohn-Sham 방정식을 SCF 근사법을 통해 구할 수 있다.
