According to Lee Dae-sik, chairman of the Korean Learning Disability Association, as of 2017, 2,040 students were officially diagnosed with learning disabilities in Korea and were selected as subjects for special education. In light of foreign cases, it is estimated that about 80% of students with learning disabilities have dyslexia. It is estimated that about 330,000 students, or 5% of Korean elementary, middle, and high schools, are suffering from dyslexia, which is difficult to read. However, many students with dyslexia are not properly diagnosed because they are considered poor at learning. The first reason is that studies related to dyslexia have not been actively conducted in Korea, and the second is that there is no diagnostic model for dyslexia suitable for Hangeul. For this reason, in this report, I found at several papers and made suggestions on the most suitable method for diagnosing dyslexia in Korean.
