As an engineer, it is essential to understand the heat transfer process. Among them, we conducted this experiment to understand the convection phenomenon. Convection is very difficult to interpret because it is affected by various factors such as temperature, density, viscosity, and thermal conductivity of the fluid etc..
The purpose of this experiment is to calculate the Nusselt number and the convective heat transfer coefficient. We obtained the Nusselt number by Hilpert equation and Churchill and Bernstein equation, and then it allows us to obtain the coefficient of heat convection.
Since this report is a preliminary report, there is no part of the results and discussion, but it consists of the purpose of the experiment, the theory, the equipment used, the experimental method, reference, and appendix.
In the theory section, there are formulas and explanations necessary to understand the experiment, and in the equipment section..
