Rudyard Kipling's poem "If" is a powerful poem that teaches a valuable lesson in resilience, strength, and composure in the face of adversity. It tells the importance of being able to gracefully cope with life's challenges with a firm and determined attitude, even when circumstances may seem overwhelming.
Recently, I watched the movie The Intern once again. My favorite scene was where the main character describes his wife that "She handled life like it was easy. Always. Even when it wasn’t." Watching this scene, I reflected on myself that was spending time with trivial and unanswered worries. Whether I think about it or not, the results are similar in the end, but I wondered why I always can't treat life with such ease. The recurring chorus of the poem, " If you can keep your head when all about you, Are losing theirs and blaming it on you" captures the essence of this character in the movie The Intern.
