Battery is device that turns chemical energy stored in its active material to electricity by oxidation-reduction reaction. It's a system working as energy conversion/storage device. Battery is used in diverse industry such as cell phone, notebook, vehicle etc.
The principle is chemical reaction for producing electrons and ions. Electron and ions can move between two electrodes. However, the difference is that electrons can only transfer along the circuit(like a metal wire), ions can only transfer through electrolyte. At anode oxidation reaction happens by giving electrons, and the electrons transfer to Cathode. In contrast of Anode, at cathode reduction reaction happens. The chemical reaction is reversible, therefore; after battery is discharged,
