불쾌한 증상 이론은?
다양한 증상에 대한 기존 정보를 통합하는 수단으로 제시
여러 가지 상황에서 서로 다른 집단의 사람들이 서로 다른 증상을 경험 하는데, 이 증상들 사이에 공통점이 있다는 것을 전제로 함
연구자들의 공동 노력으로 개발되었으며 1995년에 진행중인 것으로 소개
목적 : 다양한 상황에서의 증상 경험에 대한 이해를 향상시키고, 불쾌한 증상과 그 증상의 결과를 예방, 개선, 또는 관리하기 위한 효과적인 방안들을 기획하는 데 유용한 정보를 제공하는 것이다.
