본 연구는 독서요법을 통해 초등학생의 ‘왕따’라는 사회적 갈등의 문제를 치료하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 개별면담과 집단면담을 병행해가며 치료를 진행하였다. 독서요법의 5단계인 1) 준비2) 자료선택 3) 자료소개 4) 이해돕기 5) 후속조치와 평가단계를 토대로 하였다. 치료결과 마지막 단계인 후속조치 및 평가단계에 이르러서는 독서요법의 효력이 나타났다. 독서요법의 마지막 부분에 알맞게 왕따의 주동자였던 학생과 와따의 피해자였던 학생이 많은 변화의 모습을 보였다.

영어 초록

This research was carried out for the purpose of extracting the word, reading remedy to the real world and wishing it to be activated in various cases. Especially I wish it to be generally utilized as a resolution program by approaching the collective teasing problem which is the eternal problem of our society and has not risen to the surface through the children who are teased and the children neglect in a new way, the reading remedy.
To closely look at the data and behavioral change having much influence among the reading data used in this research,

(1) [My Mate Choi Yong Dae] - This book makes those who being teased to think of the hero character, Yong Dae who are teased thoroughly by his classmates as the same one as themselves, and helps them to find their problems by themselves, and helps those who tease to recognize that they are wrong by seeing the behavior of his classmates teasing Yong Dae and suffering Yong Dae.
(2) [A Collective Teasing Diary of Yang Gang] - This book, as the book appliable only to those who tease because there were nothing to do possibly in the position of those who are teased, helps those who tease to reflect their wrong behavior following the friend who leads the teasing.
(3) [Our Distorted Hero] - This book awakens how dreadful it is not to say having seen the wrong, and helps to have a courage to say about the friend doing misdeed to the guidance teacher.
(4) [Dog Droppings] - This book, as the book selected to give a self-confidence to those children who are teased, helps to easily understand the sorrowful mind of a dog dropping through the picture, the dog dropping said that it learned a courage that it can do something at the appearance of the dandelion which finally comes out by throwing itself.

As seen above, the effect beyond expectation could be got by approaching in a new way, reading remedy in the collective teasing problem which was regarded as difficult. Especially, this research could get greater effect by previously preventing the reader led according to the purport of the researcher by excluding the data introduction step among the five steps of reading remedy, 1), preparation step 2), selecting step of data to be read 3), data introduction step 4), step to help understand 5), following management and estimation step.

In addition, as can be seen from this research, not all the books containing the content to cure are helpful in performing the reading remedy, and because rather the incorrectly selected data can be harmful, it can be understood that the role of the expert namely the role of librarian teacher is very important above all.
