본 연구는 시각장애학생의 과학 학습 태도를 분석하기 위해 전국 12개 시각장애학교에 재학 중인 중ㆍ고등부 단순 시각장애학생 164명을 대상으로 과학 학습 태도에 대한 요인별, 시각장애학생의 변인별로 설문 조사를 실시한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.첫째, 시각장애학생의 전체 과학 학습 태도에서는 과학적 태도, 과학교과에 대한 태도, 과학에 대한 태도 순서로 높았다. 둘째, 시각장애학생의 성별에 따른 과학 학습 태도에서는 과학교과에 대해 남학생이 여학생보다 높았다. 셋째, 시각장애학생의 학교급별에 따른 과학 학습 태도에서는 중학생이 고등학생에 비해 과학에 대한 태도가 높았고, 과학교과에 대한 태도와 과학적 태도에서는 고등학생이 중학생보다 높았다. 넷째, 시각장애학생의 시력정도별에 따른 과학 학습 태도에서는 저시력학생과 맹학생의 차이가 없었다. 다섯째, 시각장애학생의 장애발생 시기별에 따른 과학 학습 태도에서는 과학적 태도에서 후천성 시각장애학생이 선천성 시각장애학생보다 높았다.
영어 초록
This study is to analyze the science learning attitude of the visually handicapped students. The way is by means of the questionnaire according to the elements as for learning and according to variations intended for the 164 visually handicapped students attending 12 junior & senior schools for the blind.The summary is as follows.
First, in general, the learning attitude in the science class of the visually handicapped students is found to be highest followed by the attitude on science subjects and the attitude on science. Second, in the science learning attitude according to the genders of the visually handicapped students, boy students are higher than girl students as for science course. Third, in the science attitude according to the school level of the visually handicapped students, the junior school students are higher than the senior high school students. In the attitude on science course and scientific attitude, senior high school students are higher than junior school students. Fourth, in the attitude of science learning according to the visual acuity of the visually handicapped students, there are no differences between low vision students and the visually handicapped students. Fifth, in the science learning attitude according to the occurrence time of the handicaps, the visually handicapped students, acquired visually handicapped students are higher than congenital visually handicapped students.
